In 2013 the whale skeletons in the Oxford Museum of Natural History were lowered from the roof where they had hung for 150 years. A team of conservators began a process of re-articulating the bones, creating more accurate versions or restorations of the whale's initial form.  The edit plays with the idea of restoration while taking on different registers.
